Ok so this one has been scratching around my sketchbook for a couple of weeks.
Its based on a story from the Old Testament (Genesis 32:22 – 32).
It’s one of those paintings that lots of artists have pained over the centuries but has fallen out of popularity.
Also this is my first larger oil painting at 18 x 22″
